What would you do if you had no income?

Imagine if after being independent since leaving school,
if at the lowest point of your life,
when you were too ill and tired to even argue,
imagine if they told that despite the National Insurance you'd paid all those years,
you could only have one years's Employment and Support Allowance (ESA),
oh, and yes, you ARE fit for work, with 365 sick days last year and the year before.

Imagine interviews at the Job Centre where the staff agreed you were too ill to work,
But they had to keep seeing you and ticking the boxes,
And imagine that after that one year of just about managing
You now have no money,
You have to ask your family for everything,
You hope your friends understand why they never see you anymore,
You can never, ever, again make plans to do anything 'just for you' ...

The We are Spartacus forum and Sue Marsh of Diary of a Benefit Scrounger are continuing the campaign to keep the injustices of ESA and the changes to Disability Living Allowance (DLA) in people's minds.  #ESAendgame

They've got hundreds of people writing in with examples of the outrageousness of the ATOS assessments (Work Capability Assessments, WCA).  Telling them about the suffering of people who are worried sick about the situation.
Here's a couple of examples:
"So when did you get autism?" and "How long have you had Down's Syndrome?"
There are dozens more here.

They need more.
You don't have to be on ESA or DLA to write in and comment, tell them about a friend or family member or send them a link to a story you saw in the press.

Help them remind people the problem still exists.
“Alone we Whisper, Together we Shout”
Thank you.
